Octogenarians Kathleen and Peter from the United Kingdom prove you’re never to old to volunteer. 

Here they are helping to pad out the kaka enclosure ready for the newly fledged chicks at the Te Anau Wildlife Centre.

The pair also helped clear up cabbage tree leaves from around the Te Anau Bird Sanctuary.

The Te Anau Wildlife Centre on the shore of Lake Te Anau is a great place to volunteer and to get a peek at some of Fiordland’s birds that are sometimes difficult to see in the wild
